Summary
Eoghainn Maclean specialises in commercial law. He is typically instructed in complex or factually difficult cases. He regularly appears in the commercial courts of both the Court of Session and the Sheriff court in a wide range of disputes, including those relating to commercial contracts, commercial property, company law, insolvency, construction and engineering and marine issues. He often works with senior counsel, but is confident, and experienced, in conducting complicated litigation alone against senior counsel or joint senior and junior counsel. Eoghainn Maclean has a particular interest in competition law and has recently given a series of talks to a range of bodies on the implications of competition law to the Scottish and English football leagues.
