Outer House first consideration of section 18 of Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985

The recent opinion of Lady Clark in DM v JM and Another is the first opinion from the Outer House and contains some useful comment on the interpretation of section 1 of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985.

The case is currently on appeal to the Inner House and should result in an authorititive opinion on the question of the interpretation of Section 18.
