Ampersand Frequently Asked Questions
What do you mean when you say “Advocating Best Practice”?
When we say we Advocating Best Practice we mean providing legal excellence through our Advocates and the highest levels of service from our clerking team. Everything we do is measured against our desire to be the Civil Law Stable of Choice in Scotland.

Why have you not restricted the Areas of Practice your Stable offers?
We have chosen not to adopt a restricted or limited service because our strengths lie in not just providing an excellent service but also in the breadth and depth of expertise we can offer. That means whether you are approaching Ampersand for the first time or have an established relationship with us, you are likely to find an Advocate with the appropriate expertise to handle your case. If that is not the case we will gladly recommend Advocates from other Stables operating within the Faculty.
